A miller leaves the least valuable possession in his will to the youngest of his three sons a thin cat.

The miller's son is desperate and sighs that he will roast and eat the beast and make a hat from the fur so that at least he has something.

Until the cat begins to talk to him in a calm and friendly tone: "Do not be sad master, if you let me live, then I can be of service to you, you just have to give me a bag and a pair of boots and you will see that you do not come off so badly as you think ".
