Redbad is a dutch historical drama. 

754 AD. Northern Europe is divided into two worlds, above the rivers the Frisian (also known as 'the free people'), Saxons and Danes. The Franks rule among the rivers. The Franks want to do what even the Romans could not; rule whole  Europe. They use a new weapon: Christianity. Redbad and his father Aldigisl fight for the freedom of their people.
