The Stronger (2009), a production in cooperation with 

Museum Van Loon.

 

Two women meet in a restaurant. They seem to know each other from the past. Is it a meeting by chance? Why does one speak and is the other silent? There is crying, dancing, shouting and laughing. But afterwards everything seems to be just like before. Did the events really happen?

 

'The Stronger' is an opera in one act by Hugo Weisgall. The libretto is based on the play by the same name by August Strindberg.
